In this project I created a functioning creative shaped orgiami lampshade using heavy cardstock. For my concept I wanted the lampshade to resemble a rose. To achieve this I used a method of origami using diagonal folds and created a pattern that was able to have a sense motion, repetion, balance and unity. This pattern was able to be repeated and stacked on top of one another to create the structure and take on the shape of the lampshade.
